Rumen-protected methionine (MeTarget)
The first and second limiting amino acids in dairy cow diets are methionine and lysine. As the rumen degradation rate of uncoated amino acids is over 80%, it is difficult to achieve amino acid balance of small intestinal metabolizable protein by relying on conventional materials. Adding LysTarget and MeTarget to the diet can easily achieve the amino acid balance of the small intestinal metabolizable protein of the cows, which can improve economic benefits of the dairy farms.
